George's Marvellous Medicine

Primary 2a had great fun this afternoon making Primary 2a's potion. The class made a recipie up last week and today got to make it. We looked at measuring liquids and solids. When we put them into the potion the children discussed which items dissolved and which items did not. We all got covered in glitter but had a great time!

Primary 2 had a fun afternoon learning about dissolving. We were looking at why George's medicine was not lumpy.  We carried out an experiment to see which of the following will dissolve. We used flour, chalk, rice, sugar, salt, coffee and gravy.

Welcome to Primary 2a with Miss Burns. We have had a busy few weeks settling into class. All the children have been working hard and have produced some amazing work! 

We have a new friend in Primary 2a called Jack the bear who will spend the weekend with a different child each week.
