Dino Challenge

A big thank you to all friends and family who helped the children complete their Dino Challenge projects at home. The results were just fantastic! We will leave them all in display for Parents' Evening for everyone to see and then the children can take them home.

Term 1 round up

The boys and girls in Room 5 have had a very busy first term in Primary 2. Our big topic has been Dinosaurs and lots of our class work has been linked to this - including Writing, Art, Music and Drama. In Maths work we've been learning all about numbers to 100- how to round, place value, odds and evens and lots more! We've also been measuring length - in metres and half metres - and weight - in kilograms and half kg. We've looked at the length of dinosaurs and also ordered ourselves in our class in order of our height.
We have lots of work to show off on Parents' night!

French

Today P2a and P2b got a great opportunity to revise all the French they learned in Primary 1 when Nathalie, a teacher from France, came to visit our class. It was great to hear proper pronunciation from a native French speaker. The children remembered lots and learned new words too!
