Happy New Year!

2012 is sure to be a great for for all of us in Kirklandneuk Primary School. We are back "home" in Ard Road in our fabulous building which looks absolutely amazing inside!
Primary 2b have had a few other wee changes too - we are no longer Room 6 - we are now Room 5, we said "Goodbye" to Mrs Wilson at Christmas and now welcome Miss McMillan as our teacher on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (Mrs Hutchison still does Monday, Thursday and Friday) and we have all made up new groups and hometeams in our class.

We are all looking forward to the year ahead!

Active Maths in our new classroom

Now that we are settling in back in our fabulous building in Ard Road, we are really getting down to lots of hard work. One of our favourite things in our class is Active Maths. We learn so much and have lots of great fun at the same time. We love the activities even more in our lovely new classroom! Just have a look at us learning and having fun!

We were all so excited to return to school after Christmas this year as we couldn't wait to see what our school looked like! On our very first day back we enjoyed seeing our new cloakroom and fabulous classroom, then had a tour of the school. Wow! We are all so impressed. Christmas Fun

The month of December was a very busy one for us. We were busy packing up our class getting ready for the move back to Ard Road, learning all our songs and lines for our Nativity - Whoops-a-Daisy Angel - and preparing for Christmas. All our performances were a great success and at Chritmas we enjoyed a fabulous party with all the other Primary 2s and we had a very special guest. Can you guess who?
