Term 4 Update

Room 5 have started the term learning about Ganesh, a Hindu God who has the head of an elephant and the stories about him. They used oil pastels to create striking pictures of him.

This term Room 5 have also been exploring communication from the past and comparing it to the present. They have found that the telephone has changed a lot and that mobiles were not invented when our parents and grandparents were children.

Room 5 have also become scientists this term, looking after bean plants and helping them too grow.  Some even have bean pods on them!  We also have some living in different conditions to see what happens to the bean and what it really need to grow and live.

We have been recording our results in our own booklets and are excited to see much they grow before we take them home!
