Term 3 update

It was so great to see so many families at our Open Evening! All of the adults did very well with the activities and Primary 2 managed to show off their knowledge perfectly!

Some of the activities included getting your picture with a T-Rex (see pictures below), digging for fossils and making a volcano explode!

The children in Primary 2 have worked so hard on this topic and have loved learning about these ancient creatures.

Recently, the children have enjoyed a trip to Kelvingrove Museum. The children learned even more about the dinosaurs and the museum staff were very impressed with their knowledge.  In particular the children enjoyed, visiting the gift shop, looking at teeth of herbivores and carnivores and handling some fossils.

We have a few very exciting events left before the end of term! We are particularly looking forward to the Easter Bonnet Parade and the end of term reward. Primary 2 are going to be very busy making beautiful Easter bonnets and rehearsing their song and poem to perform.
